Sadie and I have been a therapy team for 4 years. Sadie's 6 yrs. old and I'm 59. My daughters, Dani and Shelly, live in Wisconsin and Namibia, Africa, respectively. My partner, Mary, is a Human Resources professional. We've lived in San Antonio for 3 years.
I've been a volunteer of one sort or another, continually, since I was in high school. This is easily the most exciting and rewarding, for me, anyway, volunteer work that I've ever been involved in. Sadie's pretty enthusiastic, too.
We're certified in the READ program, for at risk but aspiring readers. We also visit at the ARC of San Antonio.
