Wounded Soldier Gets New Legs
August 17, 2011

On June 2, 2011 Luke Wedgeworth lost his legs serving OUR country. On August 17, 2011, Wendy from Paws 4 Hearts was HONORED to share a MILESTONE with Luke and his mom Beth at The Intrepid at Ft. Sam Houston, Texas. Luke received phase 1 of his prosthetic legs, which are called “stumpies.” As she put this video together along with still shots she took, she reflected on her morning with Luke and Beth and all of the other soldiers at the Intrepid who are working hard to use limbs that were lost or severely damaged while serving OUR country. Please take a few minutes to view the video at the link below and remember OUR FREEDOM IS NOT FREE and that OUR troops sacrifice daily to keep us safe. God Bless ALL of OUR troops!!!
